Our Mission

Mission Statement:

Houstonpreps.net will provide an environment where athletic, educational, and social development thrives. Houstonpreps will offer a means by which area youth can further develop their athletic skills and social skills as young people. Our goal is to promote diversity and individuality while providing an opportunity for aspiring young athletes to improve their basketball skills and talents under the tutelage of veteran ball players and professionals who represent positive role models for youth. We want to instill self-esteem, self-worth & provide the tools to help these student athletes stand strong in a society where temptations are rampant. An essential component to this mission is the full development of the student-athletes as responsible members of the community in both academic and non-academic settings. Houstonpreps.net places the highest priority on the academic development of student-athletes.

• Teach and develop basketball skills and strategy for all players.
• Prepare players for the next level of competitive basketball
• Provide support programs and services to assist student-athletes in gaining access to higher education and achieving success in their chosen endeavors.
